Jennifer Clark

Bio

Jennifer Clark grew up in a midwestern college town, attended Southern Illinois University on an Illinois Teachers Scholarship, earning a degree in Education with an Art minor. After teaching art for ten years at a suburban Chicago public school, Jennifer pulled up roots and moved to South Carolina. Teaching and art took a back seat to raising a daughter and earning a living. Spurred on by her husband’s gift of a beginner set of paints and her daughter’s gift of painting lessons, Jennifer quickly became immersed in the joy of painting. Following retirement from twenty plus years in the business world, Jennifer has come back to her love of creating.

Jennifer now enjoys as much easel time as possible, never tiring of depicting God’s natural beauty in soft, but colorful landscapes, much loved pets, commissioned pieces, or whatever happens along that inspires.  “Each painting is an opportunity to learn more about my craft, grow as an artist, and see my world in fresh and exciting ways.  It’s me time!”  Jennifer’s work has found homes with collectors across the US.
